Lynda joined the FOUA board in January 2025, bringing nearly 25 years of experience
strengthening the financial, operational, and governance capacity of associations and
not-for-profits. She’s worn many hats, including treasurer, CFO, consultant, external
auditor, and volunteer.

While pursuing her Masters in Landscape Architecture, Lynda fell in love with urban
agriculture. She’s explored everything from community gardens and food forests to
permaculture and urban farming, and is transforming her own yard into a lush food
forest. Recently certified as a Master Gardener, Lynda spends her free time running,
hiking, and traveling with her husband and son—or getting her hands dirty in the
garden.
