Kelly joined the FOUA board in 2026. Kelly has 20 years of leadership building strategic and data driven programs, with a concentration in human services. Currently, Kelly serves as the Senior Director for the Northern Virginia Region at the Capital Area Food Bank, where she manages a partner network of 100 pantries in Northern Virginia. She also serves as the unofficial head gardener for CAFB’s Virginia warehouse rooftop garden. Kelly is an active member of the Arlington Food Security Coalition where she first connected with FOUA. Kelly loves urban agriculture because of its intersectionality between food access, community building, economic development and positive environmental impact, because of this passion she also volunteers with the Northern Virginia YIMBYs. Kelly is an avid potager gardener at her home in Arlington where shares her love of growing fruits and vegetables with her children (and neighbors), who are the best garden helpers.
