Catie joined the Board in 2021. Catie has worked at the Drug Enforcement Administration since 2006, first as the Education Director of the DEA Museum and now as a Senior Prevention Program Manager. Before that, she worked as a park ranger for the National Park Service for, and also at the Smithsonian Institution for 15 years doing marine biology at the Smithsonian’s Natural History Museum and environmental education at the Smithsonian Environmental Research Center. She has been a member of the Cherrydale Volunteer Fire Department for over 30 years. Catie served on the 2012 Arlington County Urban Agriculture Task Force and FOUA’s founding steering committee. She is an avid organic gardener with a focus on medicinal herbs, and has presented a variety of gardening workshops. Catie’s family has lived in Arlington for 5 generations.
