
Robin Broder
Robin joined the Board in 2018. Robin is the Deputy Director of Waterkeepers Chesapeake (WKC) after serving as Board Treasurer 2012-2019. As a WKC Board member, Robin worked closely with the Executive Director establishing Waterkeepers Chesapeake as a nonprofit, and provided financial management, campaign and communications support over the years. Prior to Waterkeepers Chesapeake, she was Vice President of Potomac Riverkeeper Network for 7 years. Robin's earlier career included serving as Board President and then Director of Development & Finances at Arlington Street People's Assistance Network, organizing public housing residents in Chicago, and consulting with the Rockefeller Foundation on urban poverty projects. Robin has a Master's degree in Public Policy from the University of Chicago's Harris School. Robin is a life-time member of Leadership Arlington. In her spare time, she tends to her front yard vegetable garden and works on her daughter's organic vegetable farm, Shine Farms, in Richmond.
