NEW! Join the TTG Slack channel to get a quick start on the volunteer team!
Terborgh Terrace Garden, a dynamic collaboration between the Northern Virginia Conservation Trust (NVCT) and Friends of Urban Agriculture (FOUA), is set to bloom in 2025 in north Arlington. Our mission revolves around harnessing the gardener’s superpowers to protect water, soil, and air quality, ensuring a healthier environment. The heart of our project, the Plot Against Hunger program, combats food insecurity by collecting thousands of pounds of homegrown produce from right here in Arlington. This lush garden is poised to yield fresh vegetables, offer engaging community events, and provide educational opportunities. Partner with us to create a sustainable green oasis, nurturing both the land and the people it serves. Join our journey towards a brighter, greener future right here in Northern Virginia.
2025 volunteer opportunities and schedules will be posted by early summer. You can find us at 4578 26th St N, Arlington, Virginia.
Join us on May 5 from 6 – 7:30 pm for an open house at the TTG. Take a tour of the garden and meet the team. You can also join us for Saturdays in the Garden on May 31 from 9 to 11 am, our first volunteer day! More info and register here.
