Walter Reed Annex Garden

2050 S. Walter Reed Drive, Arlington

Our ¼ acre garden was established in 2013 by group of dedicated volunteers. Since then we have grown and donated over 17,000 pounds to local food pantries that are located less than a mile from the garden.

• We grow 100% organic food- No synthetic chemicals or pesticide are utilized in the garden. 
• By utilizing Ollas watering system, drip irrigation, and rain barrels we reduce water waste.
• We practice intensive planting to produce more quality food for the local food banks.
• We can not be successful without our volunteers. So far this year our volunteers have spent over 1,000 hours working in the garden.
