Local Stakeholders Celebrate Resilient and Sustainable Urban Agriculture

The Crystal City Civic Association (CCCA) and Friends of Urban Agriculture (FOUA) invite you to a family fun day focusing on urban agriculture at the Highlands Urban Garden (HUG) in Virginia Highlands Park. With generous backing from Arlington County and the National Landing Bid, the CCAA and FOUA have partnered with the SustainableScoop to bring you this event that will showcase community-shared urban agriculture with design workshops and biophilic activities for adults and children.

FOUA is excited to engage multi- and single-family housing residents in community gardening practices. This event will help Arlingtonians become better stewards and appreciate the importance of urban gardening through inclusive hands-on, engaging activities.

The HUG Garden, located at Aurora Highlands Park in Arlington, VA, will host various interactive activities designed to educate and inspire participants of all ages. Attendees will have many opportunities to get involved, learn, and share gardening tips. Refreshments will be served.
