Calling all Gardeners! Drop off your fresh garden produce to support local food pantries! Thanks to the generosity of Rock Spring Church, we will again be providing Produce Bagging for local gardeners starting in May. It’s a fun way to meet fellow gardeners, food lovers, and community members. You can also pick up garden signs, seedlings, and seeds.
- Address: 5010 Little Falls Road (follow signs to Carpenter Hall)
- Hours: Mondays, May & July 1:00pm – 3:00pm, and Mondays & Thursdays, August- October 1:00pm – 3:00pm
Here is a list of produce that pantries prefer receiving, based on the season. And information on how to package the produce if you plan to do that.

Calling all volunteers! Sign up here! To volunteer you need to watch a training video and answer some questions regarding Covid and food safety. Especially need Day-of Coordinators: The coordinator will welcome produce baggers, assist with set up and bagging, labeling produce, adding recipes/nutrition handouts to bags, and support the main Produce Manager (Becky Halbe-Master Gardener, Church member, FOUA Board member). Also need Drivers and Produce baggers. This is an easy and Covid safe volunteering event.
